Owner Bob Delf will be playing piano with 2 extraordinary singers: Don Collins, and Bethany Staelens. We’ll do some musical theatre numbers, some standards, and some surprises.  Reservations at https://www.exploretock.com/northwestcellars . This will be packed, so make your reservations early ! Don came to Seattle in 1974 to sing with Seattle Opera.  He became one of their National Artists in 1976 and was with the company as a leading baritone until 1980.  He continued his career over the next 30 years, ultimately transitioning to musical theater.  He’s performed with numerous theaters in Seattle including: ACT, TAG, The 5th Avenue and The Village Theatre.

Known primarily as a jazz singer in the PNW, Bethany’s New York career was primarily in theatre and cabaret.  Some of her favorite roles include Meg in “Damn Yankees”, Patsy in “Always, Patsy Cline”, and Dorothy Brock in a European tour of “42nd Street”. Bethany’s cabaret appearances include solo shows at Pallson’s, Gregory’s, and Don’t Tell Mama, “Noel Coward and His Ladies” with Steve Ross at the Algonquin, and as writer and director, “Sex: Because it Sells” at The Duplex.

Bob is a classically-trained pianist, and began playing professionally at age 13. He was Musical Director for the Canadian debut of Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, also played Side by Side by Sondheim, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, and I Do! I Do! .
