This momentous occasion begins the launch of Old Friends Club on a national scale! Old Friends Club has created a network of social respite programs for those living with dementia.

Live Music with Katie and Chris Morton 5pm-7pm

Join us for an evening of great music and wine with Katie and Chris Morton. Music from 5:00 to 7:00, wines by the glass or bottle only. We have new snack boxes with assorted, rotating meat and cheeses, fruit and crackers. Reservations recommended

Katie has been performing in the greater Seattle area since 2012. As a classically trained vocalist, she has spent years studying and performing in both the classical and jazz idiom; both as a solo artist and in ensembles. Katie has also acquired a significant amount of compositional experience devoted to the study, writing and arranging of both vocal and instrumental jazz. Because of her eclectic musical background, Katie draws her inspiration and vocal approach from a wide range of jazz, pop and classical, artists and techniques. She now performs professionally as a jazz vocalist both at public and private events. Her husband Chris is one of the top jazz pianists in the city.

Live Music with Carrie Wicks and Nick Allison 5:30-8:30

Join us for an evening of great music and wine with the incomparable Carrie Wicks (vocals) and Nick Allison (keyboard). Music from 5:30 to 8:30, wines by the glass or bottle only. We have snack boxes with assorted, rotating meat and cheeses, fruit and crackers. Reservations recommended! Enjoy intimate, swinging, and introspective jazz and originals from these two longtime collaborators, who’ve been playing and writing music together since 2012.

An evening of great music and wine with Bob Delf and Bethany Staelens 5pm – 7pm

Join us for an evening of great music and wine from 5pm-7pm. Our beloved wine maker, Bob Delf will be playing piano accompanied by the very talented Bethany Staelens. Known primarily as a jazz singer in the PNW, Bethany’s New York career was primarily in theatre and cabaret.  Some of her favorite roles include Meg in “Damn Yankees”, Patsy in “Always, Patsy Cline”, and Dorothy Brock in a European tour of “42nd Street". Bethany’s cabaret appearances include solo shows at Pallson’s, Gregory’s, and Don’t Tell Mama, “Noel Coward and His Ladies” with Steve Ross at the Algonquin, and as writer and director, “Sex: Because it Sells” at The Duplex. Bob is a classically-trained pianist, and began playing professionally at age 13. He was Musical Director for the Canadian debut of Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, also played Side by Side by Sondheim, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, and I Do! I Do! . Join us for an evening of music and wine with a Northwest Cellars favorite, Steve Mason. Steve shares the songs of hundreds of masters including: Tony and Frank, the Beatles, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Clapton, Dave Matthews, Shawn Colvin and James Taylor, John Denver and Elvis, Mraz and Sheeran, and so many others. Paint Your Pet!

Join us on Sun Sept 22nd from 2-4pm for a fun afternoon of wine and art. Corks and Canvases will be walking you through recreating your beloved pet or pets on canvas. Bring a picture of Fido or Garfield and transform it into a unique piece of art! This is by far the most popular Cork and Canvases event. Wine available by the glass or bottle only. Join us for an evening of great music and wine with Little Big Band. Music from 5:00 to 7:00, wines by the glass or bottle only. You’ll be tapping your toes when you hear this lively duo with its big, warm sound — featuring Nelda Swiggett on piano and vocals and Clif Swiggett on trombone and percussion. This married couple has played music together since the night they first met in 1987. Their duo together, the little BIG Band, debuted in 2013. They’ve performed at jazz clubs, private parties, weddings, and concert venues around the Northwest, and love to share their joy of music with all audiences. The little BIG Band plays hundreds of songs, crossing genres including classic jazz and swing standards, lively Brazilian and Afro-Cuban rhythms, and funky hits by Stevie Wonder, Norah Jones and more. You may even be inspired to cut a rug!

Join us for some great music and wine with The Wednesday Club, 5:30 to 8:30. Reservations recommended! We have rotating snack boxes with assorted meat and cheeses, fruit and crackers. "The Wednesday Club is a vocal Bossa-Jazz-Pop-Blues infused quartet who met through Seattle's jazz scene and bonded over their shared passions for sound, rhythm and having a good time. Each member brings a unique musical aesthetic to the band and over the years have grown comfortable jumping genres and mashing up influences, creating a vibe that is sure to keep you grooving. Over the years we have played some of the most popular venues in the greater Seattle area and we look forward to sharing our sound with you."

Dogs for Better Lives Fundraiser

Please join us for this special fundraising event. Dogs for Better Lives changes lives by providing clients with more safety, independence, and connection to the world around them that they may have lost through hearing loss, an autism diagnosis, or other trauma or disability. Dogs for Better Lives employs certified professional staff to train and place Service Dogs, free of charge, with deaf or hard-of-hearing adults, children diagnosed with autism, and licensed professionals working with vulnerable communities. Advance ticket purchase required, prices include the wine tasting and a $10 donation. Northwest Cellars will be donating $5 per bottle of any bottles purchased at the event and any online orders of the three wines (2022 'W' White Blend, 2022 'R' Red Blend and 2018 Merlot) with the Dogs for Better Lives label to support the three specialties (hearing, autism and facility) during the month of October. Please note, 10% case discount will be honored, Cellar Rat discount cannot be applied to fundraising purchases. On-line orders, be sure to specify "Dogs for Better Lives" in existing labels
