Bob Delf, owner/winemaker for Northwest Cellars: “In the early 2000s, I was CEO for a software engineering firm when I received a custom-labeled wine as a corporate gift. The idea was great, but the wine was terrible!”
When Bob began to look for his next career, a simple idea occurred:
“I decided to pursue my ever-growing enthusiasm for good wine. And to find a way to offer personalized packaging but with great wine in the bottle.”
Bob sought out highly acclaimed consulting winemaker Robert Smasne and in 2004 started Northwest Cellars. Smasne continues on as consulting winemaker, but these days Bob does all the blending himself. Blending that has won him hundreds of awards from the winemaking industry.
His in-house design and production team works with customers’ art or can create something new for any occasion or business.
