Their Goals

El Gaucho® was looking for a way to recognize and thank its loyal, regular guests during the holidays, and they needed a product that was of the same high caliber as the restaurant.

The Inn at El Gaucho, located in Seattle’s hip Belltown district, wanted a way to get the message out about their prime proximity from the newly redesigned Seattle Art Museum and the museum’s new sculpture park.

Our Solution

Northwest Cellars made a specially labeled bottle of Brut sparkling wine, which featured a piece of artwork originally created for Mackay Restaurants by artist Nina Mikhailenko. The wine was then shipped to the homes of 50 VIP guests over the holiday season as a thank you gift.

Northwest Cellars partnered with the Seattle Art Museum to create a special label showcasing one of the statues in the sculpture park. A bottle of this commemorative sparking Brut was given to each guest who reserved a stay that included the arts package.

The Results

El Gaucho’s® guests were impressed, both with the gesture and with the product itself, and the wine allowed El Gaucho® to have its logo sitting in the homes of 50 VIP guests.

The Inn at El Gaucho successfully created a partnership with the Seattle Art Museum and new sculpture park, which was reinforced with each branded bottle of wine that was given out to guests.

“We were so surprised to find a gift from El Gaucho® on our doorstep!
It was a thoughtful gesture, and we were really impressed that the
management team remembered us during the holidays –
we are definitely lifetime fans of the restaurant!”

“When we were making a decision about this product,
we did a side by side tasting with Billecart-Salmon.
The Northwest Cellars Brut Rose actually paired better with El Gaucho’s food.
I felt very comfortable about putting our logo on this quality product.”

~ Dominique Calle, Manager, Inn at El Gaucho®
