YOU. MUST. TRY. THESE. WINES.

Big, Bold, Beautiful, 2012 Barrel-aged reds are here!

“I‘m excited to share our 2012 red wines with you! The 2012 vintage is one of the best since I started the winery 10 years ago, and I think these are the best wines we have made … so far. The Carménère is one of our fastest to sell out because of its peppery profile and soft tannins, and micro-production. The Cadenza is a special treat that is only produced in the best vintages; it’s a perfect blend for those who like big, bold reds.”  Bob Delf, Northwest Cellars, Chief Wine Geek

Come into our Urban Winery and Tasting Room in Kirkland to get your hands on these while they last. Both are very limited productions and will sell out quickly! Can’t make it to the tasting room?

Our 2012 Carménère may be gone, but you can still enjoy a wonderful 2017.

2017 Carménère (Kiona Vineyard, Red Moutain)

100% Carménère  |  Only 48 cases. $48 per bottle.

“Opens with whiffs of strawberry, dried black plum, roasted cherry tomatoes and a dusting of paprika and cocoa powder. The palate has a touch of spice and notes of raspberry, blueberry leather, vanilla and an idea of something green and herbal . Very balanced, very smooth, moderate tannins. You can hold this. But why wait?”

PAIR THIS CARMÉNÈRE WITH: tapas, spicy andouille or chorizo sausage, earthy vegetables, roasted peppers

2012 Cadenza Red Blend (Columbia Valley)

50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Carménère, 25% Merlot |  236 cases. $36 per bottle.

On the nose there’s blackberry, strawberry, spice, chocolate, earth and straw. On the palate it’s all dark berry along with both red and black licorice. But also a fresh and savory aspect touched with thyme and oregano. Very well balanced with soft but definite tannins that show up with the finish of blackberry touched with orange.

This wine has already been awarded a SILVER MEDAL from Hilton Head Island Wine Competition (Feb 2015)

PAIR THIS BLEND WITH: mature cheeses like manchego, grilled meats, spicy foods
