Northwest Cellars 2010 Malbec

91 Dark ruby with a violet tinge. Great Malbec character in a polished package showing very pure black and blue berry fruit with an earth note. Velvet in texture with deep fruit, fine tannins and a hint of graphite adding nuance on the finish. Should improve with another 3-5 years in bottle. Fruit is sourced from the Verhey and Phinney Hill vineyards.
