2012 Scooteney Flats Malbec (Red Mountain)

100% Malbec |  Only 49 cases. $48 per bottle.

Full bodied, deep and powerful, this malbec is also smooth, velvety and supple. On the nose there is wet earth, chocolate, black cherry, licorice and spice. The palate follows with a medley of boysenberry, blueberry, and black plum that softly coats the tongue, turns to a mid-palate cherry and is followed by a concentrated finish of soft tannins and spice. Memorable. And delicious.

AWARD: Chairman’s Award (unanimous GOLD) at Riverside International.

2012 Fortissimo Red Blend (Columbia Valley)

60% Syrah, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Carménère, 7% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot |  362 cases. $24 per bottle.

A dark and full bodied blend for the senses! With aromas of blackberry, cherry and black plum on the approach along with some sweet vanilla, mocha and black olive. The cherry mocha flows onto the palate with a smooth rich mouthfeel that also tastes of dried strawberry and red currant. Integrated tannins and white pepper and cola make for a nice finish.

2014 Sonatina (Columbia Valley)

55% Roussanne, 45% Viognier  |  226 cases. $24 per bottle.

This Rhone-inspired white has fruit from two vineyards in the Columbia Valley AVA: Alder Ridge and Upland. Perfumed with sweet and herbal wildflowers, oregano, unripe pear but overly ripe apricot, this is a summer field in a bottle. The palate holds just a touch of sweet honey,  balanced by lots of mineral. A creamy mouthfeel is accompanied by green melon and chamomile tea on its very long finish.
